As we approach the end times, the Bible warns us in 2 Timothy 3:1 that many people’s love will grow cold, and lawlessness and immorality will flourish. Men will become lovers of self and money, as well as unholy, blasphemers, unloving, unthankful, disobedient to parents, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, traitors, headstrong, and lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, according to this verse.How To Leave A Righteous Life .According to the above verse, as bad as man’s moral state is right now, it is only going to get much worse in the coming years.

When it comes to the big picture with our Lord, the age-old question is why – why did Satan and one-third of the angels have to choose against God and His holy and righteous ways with their own free wills?

Why couldn’t they simply do the right thing and remain faithful to the Lord, choosing to live good and righteous lives in front of Him?

Why couldn’t Adam and Eve have chosen with their own free wills to obey one simple little command from the Lord to stay off one forbidden tree when God decides to create a second race of beings, the human race?

Then, after they failed their one simple little test, the rest of the human race is created and born into a now fallen and cursed world, we’re back to square one with the same old problem. Why, like one-third of the angels, does a certain percentage of the human race still have to choose to go against God and all of His holy and righteous ways with their own free will?

God has written His basic laws into the hearts of all created beings, as you will see in the verses I will list below.

We all understand basic right from basic wrong, but so many of us still choose to do the wrong thing at certain times with our own free wills, with some of the more evil people in this world doing things that a normal person would never consider doing, such as robbing, rapping, killing, kidnapping, and torturing.

There isn’t a day that goes by when we don’t witness some form of extreme evil being perpetrated on a regular basis somewhere in the world.

With all of the advances in technology, and with the world becoming a much smaller and closer space as a result of how interconnected we are all now, many people still haven’t learned from our history lessons, and there are still many people out there acting on their evil and fleshly impulses with no regard for who they hurt, kill, or destroy. Some people today are as primitive as those who lived 5000 years ago.

Many persons who have had some form of heinous crime perpetrated against them or one of their close loved ones have constantly wondered why it happened to them.
How can some people perform such heinous and heinous atrocities against another human being?
Why can’t we all just get along and live in peace and harmony?
Not only can man not get along with his fellow man, but nations are always looking for ways to cause trouble with other nations, as the Bible predicts that as we approach the end times, there will be wars and rumors of wars, with nations pitted against nations and kingdoms pitted against kingdoms.

When you take a step back and look at the big picture, it’s heartbreaking to see all of this carnage play out on a daily basis across much of the globe.

Why can’t the majority of humanity just get right with God and learn to follow His holy and righteous ways so that we can all learn to live in peace and harmony with one another?

God has endowed each of us with free will, allowing us to choose between the good and righteous side of life and the evil and dark side of life.

Even though demons still roam the air, attempting to persuade us to do their evil will, God will hold each of us personally responsible for any bad or evil acts we commit in this life.

Despite the fact that Satan was the one who tempted Eve to disobey one simple command, God held both Adam and Eve completely responsible for what they did in the Garden of Eden, even though Satan was the one who put pressure on them to do it.

The excuse that “the devil forced me to do it” will not wash with the Lord once we die and cross over to face Him face to face for all of our own personal judgments.

As we’ve stated in many of the articles in our Spiritual Warfare section, demons can’t force you to do anything against your will because God won’t allow them to invade the space you have within your own being.

The only thing demons can do is persuade and tempt you to do evil things.

But it will always be up to each of us to decide whether or not we will succumb to their evil suggestions. Just because a demon instills in you the desire to kill someone doesn’t mean you have to go out and do it.

Unless you are seriously mentally ill, God will closely monitor your interactions with these demons, just as He did with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, and He will hold you personally responsible if you choose to act on any of their evil suggestions.

If you choose to act on any evil thoughts or desires that are running through your mind, you will face the Lord on judgment day, and you will have to pay the full price for your sins if you do not get saved and have those sins fully forgiven by Jesus’ blood before you die and cross over.

Even the apostle Paul, whom I believe to be the greatest of all the New Testament apostles, struggled with his flesh and dark side. Here’s a verse right from this man’s mouth on his own struggles with regulating his own thoughts and behaviors. This is a classic statement about our sin nature, which we all share.

“I don’t understand what I’m doing.” For what I want to do, I don’t do it; but what I despise, I do.” (Rom. 7:15).

In other words, Paul, like the rest of us, is discovering that we all do things in life that we know we shouldn’t be doing. We can all attest to this classic remark, as we all struggle from time to time with doing things we know are wrong in God’s eyes.

As previously stated, no man, woman, or angel will ever become the 4th person of the Divine Trinity. In their divine personalities, only God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are absolutely and utterly perfect. They are entirely and completely perfect in every single one of their personality characteristics.

God, on the other hand, is now in a bit of a pickle. This means that every being He ever creates will not be perfect in the same way that He is, and they will be capable of falling to the dark side.

There is really no other conclusion that we can reach with one-third of angels malfunctioning to the dark side and a large number of the human species also doing the same.

Because the Bible tells us that all men and women have sinned and come far short of God’s glory, only the blood of Jesus Christ can make us pure and clean enough before God the Father to get us into heaven.

We are truly born into this world in sin and wickedness through our mother’s womb, as you will see in one of the verses I shall give below. In other words, unless we receive and accept the free redeeming redemption that Jesus Christ offers to each of us via His sacrificial death on the cross, we are all born doomed and damned straight away.

Here are seven more good verses that show us that we were all born into this world as sinners in God’s eyes, but that if we accept what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross, then His own righteousness can be imputed to us, and God the Father will take us back and grant us entrance into heaven once we die and cross over.

This is nicely spelled out in the first verse I’ll list below. The remainder of the passages will then show us how we were all born into this world as sinners, and that there is no one in this world who is truly righteous and holy in God’s eyes.

“For He caused Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we could become God’s righteousness.” 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NASB)
“Behold, I was born in iniquity, and my mother conceived me in sin.” Psalm 51:5 is a psalm written by David.
“There is none virtuous, nay, not one…”, as it is written. (Romans 3:10, NASB)
“… for all have sinned and come short of God’s glory…” (Ephesians 3:23)
“For since death came from man, so did the resurrection of the dead.” For just as everyone dies in Adam, everyone will be brought alive in Christ.” (Colossians 15:21–22)
“Therefore, just as sin entered the world via one man, and death through sin, death spread to all men because all sinned…” (Rom. 5:12).
“But we are all unclean, and all our righteousness is filthy rags; we all fade like a leaf, and our sins are carried away by the wind.” (6:4 Isaiah)
When you really think about and meditate on these specific verses, it just blows your mind that God the Father would allow His Son Jesus’ own righteousness to be imputed to us so that we can all be made righteous enough before Him to be able to cross over into heaven when we die and cross over – especially when we have done nothing to earn or achieve any of this on our own.

All of this is simply a free and holy gift from the Lord.

Even if we tried to be as good and perfect as we possibly could in front of the Lord, according to the last verse.
